Caroline Cencer (she/her) is a Ph.D. candidate at Vanderbilt University in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. In addition to falling in love with microscopy, she also gained a passion for science communication.
Caroline is excited by unique forms of SciComm such as videos, podcasts, and science inspired art. She has a TikTok account, @POVPhD, where she shows first-hand views of what it is like to be a graduate student researcher. She expects to defend her thesis in the near future and pursue a professional career in science or medical communications.
In her free time, Caroline enjoys playing piano, dabbling in various art forms, and exploring the city of Nashville with her rescue pup, Nova.
