Stephanie (Hamilton) Deppe, PhD (she/her) is a planetary scientist, science communicator, & public engagement specialist (not necessarily in that order). She loves making science accessible to everyone and enabling other researchers to do the same. She's delighted to extend that mission to the science of science communication through the creation of SciCommBites!

She's known as SpaceSciSteph on Twitter and Instagram, where she shares content related to astronomy, science communication, and the importance of mental health in all facets of life, but especially in graduate school.

She’s currently the Astronomy Content Strategist for Vera C. Rubin Observatory, where she gets to share the amazing stories of the observatory, the people who work there, and the science they do.
